Cold shrink tubing is a fast and easy way to weatherproof the coax splice or connection for telecommunication industry.
Simply position the pre-expanded tubing over the connection that you are protecting and pull the rip cord, the tubing will shrink and compresses to form a weatherproof seal.
HDG Telecom’s cold shrink tube, item no CSH-1278, is designed to seal the connection between 7/8” feeder cable and the 1/2" flex & superflex jumper cable.
It is widely used in the wireless cell towers.
